The Community Action Association of Alabama is previewing the Alabama Community Impact Hub, a statewide resource navigator and data platform built for two audiences at once: families looking for help today, and the agencies, funders and policymakers deciding where resources go next.

The Hub pairs a plain-language resource navigator with a Community Action Dashboard that shows county-level need next to the services member agencies deliver. Every figure carries its source: county conditions come from the U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey, and service figures come from Community Needs Assessments and CSBG reporting supplied by member agencies.

"Our agencies already collect an enormous amount of information," the association notes. "The gap has been a shared, public place to see it — and to see it next to the need it is meant to answer."
