Eighteen Community Action Agencies cover all 67 Alabama counties, administering CSBG funds alongside energy, weatherization, early-childhood, food, housing and workforce programmes.
How the network is organised
ADECA administers Alabama's CSBG allocation to the 18 eligible entities. Each agency is locally governed by a tripartite board, completes its own Community Needs Assessment, and designs services around the needs it documents.
